It is better known as one of the best mileage bikes in the market of Bangladesh. The bike is powered by a powerful 100cc 4-stroke, DTS-I, single cylinder engine. Its maximum power is 7.9 PS and 7500 RPM. The maximum torque of the bike is 8.3 Newton meters and 5500 RPM. This is an air cooling engine. The Bajaj Platina 100cc has a simultaneous click and self-engine start system. The bike also has a separate speedometer and tacometer. This motorcycle is provided with good quality braking system, hydraulic disc brakes on the front wheels and drum brake system on the rear wheels. The front of the bike is given 135 mm hydraulic & telescopic suspension and the rear is given spring suspension with 110 mm gas canister. Tubular single down tube with lower cradle frame is provided as the chassis of the bike. The front of the Bajaj Platina bike is used with 2.75-17 size tubes and the rear tire size is 3.00-17 with ATO tubes. And its front and rear ring size is 431.8 mm. The maximum height of the bike is 2006 mm and the ground clearance is 200 mm so that the bike can be ridden easily on any road without any hassle. It has a capacity of 11 liters of oil at a time. Petrol should be used as oil. The bike weighs only 110 kg.
