The Agappe Mispa CountX was built by L&T Technology Services. It is a Smart Impedance Technology with a 3-part differential hematology analyzer that offers quality CBC testing with Smart Impedance Technology. It is designed for routine laboratories, satellite labs, and emergency care units, with a throughput of 60 samples/hour, 20 parameters, and 3 histograms, requiring minimal maintenance.
Aperture impedance/ Coulter Principle: The Coulter principle uses a narrow aperture that only one cell can pass through at a time. The change in impedance as a cell passes through is proportional to cell volume, resulting in a count and measure of the volume of RBCs, Platelets, and WBCs.
Volumetric Metering: The analyzer utilizes a volumetric metering unit to ensure accurate sample volume analysis. The Volumetric Board circuit verifies the completion time of RBC & WBC count during the sample test. The phototransistor in-line fluid sensor detects the presence of fluid flowing through the tubes and calculates the count time by measuring the time it takes for the RBC/WBC fluid line to move between sensors.
Photometry / Colorimetric Method: This LED-based technology is used to measure Hemoglobin levels. The lysed WBC solution is exposed to 520 nm LED light and detected by a photodiode. The intensity of the reflected light is inversely proportional to the hemoglobin concentration, which determines the hemoglobin count.
