However, in most cases we do not check what kind of mask to wear before using the mask. It is good to know about different types of face masks before using masks. Different types of face masks like Surgical Mask, N-95 Mask, KN-95 Mask, Cloth Face Mask etc. are available in the market at present and at present the price of Face Mask in Bangladesh more than lower. Today we do not know the details of 5 types of masks.
1. Surgical mask
Surgical face mask is one of the most widely used face masks. Most people use surgical face masks. Surgical masks are available at various pharmacies and stores for a small fee. Before buying a surgical mask, you must buy a three-layer surgical mask. According to experts, using a surgical mask will provide 11 percent protection. However, eye masks can usually be used once.
2. Cloth mask
The most comfortable inside the mask is the cloth face mask. The demand for cloth masks has multiplied over time. If any type of mask is used more after the surgical mask, it is a cloth mask. There are many designs of cloth masks available in the market. Fabric masks are usually made with a soft cloth and if the result is dirty, it can be washed, cleaned and reused.
3. N-95 mask
The 'N' of the N-95 mask means 'not resistant to oil'. Because this mask will only resist object particles, not any liquids. The N-95 mask is a type of particulate-purification mask developed by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). N-95 means that 95% of the sand particles are purified by the mask. According to experts, this mask lasts up to 40 hours. The N-95 masks are quite effective in terms of safety, but they are slightly more expensive than other masks.
4. KN-95 mask
Although KN-95 mask and N-95 mask have some similarities in name, their effectiveness is different. The KN-95 mask is a Chinese-made mask, but similar to the American N-95 mask. Since there is no repeater on either side of the mask, the outside dust can be completely protected from sand.
5. FFP mask
The full form of FFP is 'Filtering Face Piece', European standard FFP following the standard of American N-95 mask and Chinese K-95 mask. They all have the same functionality and the same level of protection. These masks are available in three categories: FFP1, FFP2 mask, FFP3. FFP1 purifies about 70% of the sand and contains yellow colored ribbons. The ribbons of the FFP2 mask are white or blue and can filter up to 94% of the sand. On the other hand, the effectiveness of FFP3 masks is very good, it can purify about 99% of the dust. Its ribbons are red.
