What is SSD?

The full form of the word SSD is solid state drive. It is basically a kind of flash storage system of computer whose main function is to preserve information. Due to its light weight and small size, the popularity of this SSD is increasing day by day and the circulation of hard drives is decreasing. SSDs do not have a hard disk like a hard drive. It has a few electric chips that do the job of storing data. This SSD storage system works much faster than a hard drive. It retrieves data in a few microseconds which takes a few milliseconds to hard disk. In addition, the data transfer rate is much higher than the hard drive. There is also the fear of easy data loss due to the presence of a magnetic field on the hard drive which is not present in SSD drives. SSD also has less fear of falling and getting damaged due to lack of components inside. Having a fast read-write system makes the computer work in the blink of an eye. So this storage of flash drive is becoming widely used day by day. Now with the development of technology, the price of SSD has come down a lot. At present good quality SSD disks are available for 1500 Taka.
