Hajj Quota in 2023
All Hajj activities will be conducted this year keeping in mind the Kovid-19 epidemic restrictions. Therefore, it has been informed that there will be significant changes in the entire travel process of Hajj.
The Saudi government has recently released a list of how many people from any country can go on Hajj. According to that list, 57,585 peoples can go for Hajj from Bangladesh. Of these, 4,000 people under government management and 53,585 peoples under private management will be able to go for Hajj.
Hajj Package Price in 2023
Compared to other years, the price of Hajj package has officially increased this year. Officially, the minimum Hajj cost from Bangladesh 2023 has been fixed at Tk 4,72,150. And privately, the minimum package rate for Hajj is 4,63,744 Taka. The price of the said package has been fixed excluding animal sacrifice. Hajj pilgrims of such packages have to take money separately for animal slaughter.
Conditions for performing Hajj in 2023
Recently, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Affairs of Saudi Arabia has announced the conditions for performing Hajj this year.
They say about two conditions:
1. Those who are going to perform Hajj must be under 65 years of age and must have been vaccinated with full dose of Kovid-19.
2. Hajj pilgrims will have to carry a negative certificate of corona test in RT-PCR system within 72 hours before starting their journey to Saudi. The Saudi government has been asked to carry out each Hajj pilgrimage on a group basis and to keep multiple copies of its own vaccination certificate.
With the above in mind, one has to prepare for Hajj.
